Festka is a Czech custom carbon frame builder — their own ideas, their own tubing production, their own bikes. No compromises. Everything top-tier.
Last Saturday, Michael — one of the two founders — and Jan came all the way from Prague to visit us. They brought a whole fleet of bikes and a wealth of knowledge about carbon manufacturing. The builds were stunning, the graphics endlessly detailed.
We had originally planned just a short test ride, but that quickly turned into an 80 km loop — enough time to really get a feel for the bikes. Everyone found a frame in the right size, and although Festka normally builds everything to measure (which would make the fit even more precise), the feedback was overwhelmingly positive and the ride was pure joy.
Michael also gave us deep insight into why Festka goes the extra mile to produce their own tubing, how that sets them apart from other brands, and why their frames are built to last longer than most other carbon bikes out there.
To round off the day: the queen stage of the Giro, a perfect match for these regal machines. 👑
And yes, in case you’re wondering: Festka frames are fully UCI-legal — they just don’t plaster it all over the frame. Pure understatement. Understandable.
